I like to call the art of practicing brush lettering while listening to calming music as "Brush Lettering Meditation." While I practice, I like to be mindful and be present in the moment. My awareness of the amount of pressure I include in each up stroke or down stroke, my alertness regarding the angle I grip the brush, and my being knowledgeable of the rate of my breathing are all part of this customisable calming practice. I'll be making resources available below so you can take chunks out of your day to be more still and be more at peace.
